(pronounced De-BOR-rah) Bond and her dynamic band “Third Logic” have been performing as a collective for over 10 years nationally and beyond, giving them a pure and genuine chemistry. Pulling from the influences of soul/ jazz power bands like Earth, Wind, and Fire, Jamiroquai, and Rufus, Deborah Bond and Third Logic (D3) have created a stage performance known for it’s extreme showmanship and polish. The power unit has performed at some of the top music venues around the US and abroad, receiving a standing ovation at DC’s legendary Howard Theatre. Her collective made their UK debut on the opening night of the 2012 summer Olympics headlining London’s Jazz Café. Other venues include The Strathmore, (where Deborah was selected to be in the prestigious Artist in Residence Program) The Kennedy Center (DC) Jazz at Lincoln Center (Doha, Qatar 1month residency) Warner Theater (DC) Capital Jazz Festival, Meriweather Post Pavilion, Rams Head, City Winery (DC/Chicago) 9:30 Club, Yoshis (Oakland), BB Kings, (NY), Blue Note (NY, Tokyo, Hawaii) Luanda Jazz Festival (Angola, Luanda) among many others. 

Deborah credits R&B heavy weights such Chaka Khan, Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Sade for shaping her vocal sound, receiving accolades from critics, artists, and fans worldwide for her unique vocal tone and expression. Deborah Bond’s current albums “DayAfter” and “Madam Palindrome’ are now considered “indie-soul” classics and solidified her spot as a serious songwriter/arranger among her peers of the genre. Sophomore release, Madam Palindrome hit # 1 on the “UK Soul Chart” for three consecutive weeks and is considered one of the “best soul albums of 2011” by Chris Wells of Echoes magazine. 

In addition to creating with her band Third Logic, Deborah Bond has been featured on countless collaborations with the top in neo-soul, jazz, & hip hop keeping her name and brand circulating amongst the best of the business. One of her most notable collaborations happened in 2015 with the legendary UK super band Incognito. Written, arranged, and performed by Deborah, the song “I See The Sun” is considered a stand out on Incognito’s “Amplified Soul’ album which led to her joining the group for a world tour for their follow-up album “In Search of Better Days” in 2016. Deborah now joins the group on spot dates all 

over the world solidyfying herself as an official member of Incognito. Other collaborators include, Frank McComb, Aaron Abernathy, Brandon Williams, and Lewis Taylor. When she’s not leading on stage you can also catch her supporting music legends on vocals such as Melba Moore, Miki Howard, Karyn White, Chante Moore, MC Lyte, Keith Washington, the late Ronnie Jordan, Trina Broussard, Ledisi, Angela Johnson and The Foreign Exchange. 

Debórah Bond also thrives in the world of production and media. She studied Broadcast journalism at American University and spent 10yrs working at Sirius XM Satellite radio as an on-air host and production assistant. She continues to keep the connection to her love for journalism and music through jingles writing/ singing (notably WKTU, NY), and voiceover work. Satisfying her love for people, music, and conversation, Debórah enjoys hosting shows and interviewing music industry’s top artists, including Chaka Khan, Alicia Keys, Ne-Yo, Lalah Hathaway, Brand New Heavies, Marsha Ambrosius, Fourplay, Nneena Freelon, Musiq Soulchild, & Spyro Gyra, among a long list of others. Debórah has also served as Governor for DC Grammy Chapter for 6 terms, is a Songwriters Association of Washington member, and enjoys mentoring & teaching up and coming vocalists. 

Deborah Bond is currently working on new music and plans to be release her next studio project late 2019/ early 2020.
